Our salon has an appointment only policy. To avoid disappointment treatments should be pre-booked, the best way to do this is via our online booking system. All treatment time lengths are approximate and will depend on each individual client, times include consultations and after care this is essential to ensure a personalised treatment. Some medical conditions may need advice from a GP/doctor, if unsure please do not hesitate to contact us prior to your treatment. Prior to your appointment we will send an electronic consultation card via email if this can be completed before your appointment this would be ideal. If you have any problems in doing this let us know and we can help you at your appointment.
Prices, treatments and products are subject to revision without prior notice! Prices can always be found on our website. Please note that we do not give refunds on any products or purchases.
Clients need to be age 16 or over to have treatments performed at the salon, this is due to insurance purposes. For some treatments you will need to be 18 or over, ID can be required. Please avoid bringing children to the salon.
DATA PROTECTION POLICY
Any personal information you provide to us will not be released, sold, or rented to any entities or individuals outside of The Beauty Lounge Tettenhall. The Beauty Lounge Tettenhall will collect, handle and store personal data for treatment and appointment purposes in accordance with General Data Protection Regulations (GDPR). From time to time we send promotional emails and we also send appointment confirmations and reminders via e-mail and text.
BOOKING & CANCELLATION POLICY
Your appointment has been reserved especially for you therefore we ask you to notify us at least 24 hours in advance if you wish to cancel or reschedule your appointment as a courtesy to both The Beauty Lounge Tettenhall and our other clients. Please let us know via Voicemail or Email if you wish to cancel your appointment to ensure that we are aware immediately. You will have an email confirmation to confirm this has been done for you, if you do not get an email please try letting us know again as we will always confirm this by email. If we receive less than 24 hours notice of cancellation then 50% of the treatment/s cost will be charged. ‘No Shows’ or those that give less than 3 hours notice will be charged the full cost of the treatment/s. No further bookings will be made until this is paid. Clients who have previously missed appointments will be asked to pay in full when booking future treatments. To secure your appointments for group bookings/long bookings/very advanced bookings a non-refundable/transferable booking fee will be required at the time of booking. Thank you for your understanding that our time is valuable!
ONLINE BOOKING POLICY
To secure your appointment a non-refundable/transferable booking fee will be required. This is non-refundable under any circumstances. Thank you for your understanding that our time is valuable! In order to book your appointment, we will require your card details. These are securely held by our booking system (Ovatu). Your card will only be charged in the event of a no-show or late cancellation. Cancellations within 24 hours will be charged at 50% of the total appointment cost. No shows will be charged at 100% of the total appointment cost. Appointment reminders will be sent 48 hours before your appointment so please contact us as early as possible to avoid your card being charged. You are able to move your appointment up to 24hrs before, this is not ideal of course, if you need to move your appointment please do this as soon as possible. You are only able to re-schedule the same appointment twice after the booking is made. If you try to re-schedule a third time your appointment will automatically be cancelled and you will lose your booking fee. Cancellations can’t be made via the online booking system please email or lave a voicemail directly with the salon. Please note when booking online we may need to move your appointment by 15 mins when we confirm your appointment so please try not to leave slots throughout the appointment system.
Please inform me at the time of booking of any health issues or medical conditions we may need to be aware of, including pregnancy. We can then advise you accordingly of suitable treatments although we will also do a thorough consultation with you before your treatment.
Please arrive just 5 minutes before your appointment. If for any reason you think you may arrive late for your treatment please call to let us know and lave a voicmail or send an email. If you are late for your appointment please be aware that the full appointment time may not be attained or it may not be possible for your treatments to be carried out at all (e.g more than 15 mins late) and your treatment will still need to be charged.
Patch tests for treatments involving tinting, LVL lash lift, Pro Power Peel, Microblading/Ombre brows are required 24-48 hours prior to your first treatment including if you have had a patch test elsewhere. Please note this is a legal requirement.
If you haven’t been to the salon for over 12 months since your skin test/treatment or anything has changed with your medical history we will need you to have another skin test.
LVL PATCH TESTING we are advised by LVL for best practise you will be offered a skin test before each LVL treatment this is optional but if you leave it longer than 6 months since your LVL skin test/treatment or anything has changed with your medical history we will need you to have a skin test legally.
We do not offer removals on any artificial nails or hard gel polish applied elsewhere. Please remove any existing polish before arrival to allow full treatment time. Always book in removals for gel polish otherwise there may not be time for reapplication.
Payment can be made by cash, card or a valid gift voucher. Unfortunately we are unable to accept cheque payments.
Valid for 6 months from purchase. You must produce your gift voucher at the time of treatment otherwise you will need to pay in full and use your voucher on another occasion. Gift voucher treatments are subject to availability and our usual booking & cancellation policy.
NEW VIP SCHEME REPLACING LOYALTY CARDS
We will no longer be accepting Loyalty Cards they are discontinued due to the NEW VIP Scheme. The reason for this change is in the months to come once we re-open we want to reduce risk to INFECTION CONTROL and become completely PAPERLESS. We have electronic consultation cards and aftercare forms already. If you have a full stamped loyalty card then I will honour these for a limited time please bring it with you to your first available appointment when we re-open! Any with a few stamps on please kindly throw them away! The VIP scheme is going to be absolutely brilliant moving forward! You know who you are and you will be on my special list of VIP clients on the booking system so you don’t have to do anything
Please ensure that you retrieve all your valuables before leaving the premises as we cannot be held responsible for lost items. We recommend wearing as little jewellery as possible to the salon when having facials or massages. Please also remove rings and watches for nail appointments.
There is wheelchair access to Limes Court but unfortunately The Beauty Lounge Tettenhall has limited wheelchair access including no access to the W/C and treatment rooms. If you have any other medical conditions please inform us prior to booking treatments so that we are able to discuss and make any arrangements required.
Please don’t bring children to The Beauty Lounge Tettenhall due to health & safety reasons.
Please note that due to health and safety reasons no additional persons other than clients are to be in for their appointment due to the appointment only policy as we like the salon to feel private (if you have any special requirements please let us know of course)
